Tallahassee, FL – Today, McCollum for Governor Campaign Manager Matt Williams issued the following statement on Alex Sink’s short-sighted failure to recognize tort reform as a major issue for Florida businesses:
“By failing to recognize that frivolous lawsuits pose a major challenge to Florida’s ability to recruit and retain businesses, Alex Sink once again proved she is beholden to the trial lawyers and liberal special interests funding her campaign.
“While Alex Sink focuses on rationing paperclips and paper products, Bill McCollum is focused on finding solutions to the severe economic challenges we face.”
McCollum is committed to advancing meaningful litigation reform, creating a more attractive climate to foster the private sector growth that will create the jobs we need.”
